Group 1 Winner Mabs Cross to be offered at Tattersalls December Mares Sale
The Group 1 winning sprinter MABS CROSS will be offered as lot 1818 at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale on Tuesday, December 3rd. The daughter of DUTCH ART will be consigned from trainer Michael Dods’ Denton Hall Stables on behalf of owner David Armstrong.
MABS CROSS is out of the Listed Hillary Needler Stakes winning PIVOTAL mare MISS MEGGY and is a half-sister to the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes winner CHARLIE EM and has been a model of consistency over the last three years. The seven-time winner was successful in the Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp at the end of last year, which followed on from placed efforts in the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes and Group 1 Kings Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot behind BLUE POINT. She also won the Group 3 Palace House Stakes on two occasions, and in total won four Group/Listed contests as well as being placed in a further eight.
Officially Britain’s highest rated sprinting racemare in 2019, MABS CROSS is described by ‘Timeform’ as a “tall, good-topped mare” and rated 119 by the Yorkshire-based form analysts.
The Tattersalls December Mares Sale takes from December 2 – 5. Catalogues will be online on Friday, October 25 and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls Representatives from Monday, October 28.
