Pierre Lapin Wins 142nd £25,000 Book 1 Bonus and Earns £31,469

The Roger Varian-trained PIERRE LAPIN became the 142nd winner of a Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus when winning the EBF Novice Stakes at Haydock in impressive fashion.  The striking son of CAPPELLA SANSEVERO earned a total of £31,469 on debut for his owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum.

Consigned at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Ballyphilip Stud, PIERRE LAPIN is a half brother to dual Group 1 winning sprinter HARRY ANGEL and was purchased by his trainer, Roger Varian, for 140,000 guineas.
