The Andrew Tinkler-owned pair of ROYAL DIAMOND and BELLE DE CRECY are both set to take their place in the sale ring at Tattersalls in the coming weeks.

ROYAL DIAMOND, winner of the Group 3 Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup for trainer and jockey Johnny Murtagh is catalogued as lot 256 at the forthcoming Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale. The winner of the 2012 Group 1 Irish St Leger is also a graduate of the sale, having been purchased there in 2009 for 400,000 guineas.

BELLE DE CRECY, winner of the Group 2 Blandford Stakes at The Curragh on her previous start, ran a career best when second in the Group 1 Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes for trainer/jockey Johnny Murtagh behind Tattersalls October Book 1 graduate SEAL OF APPROVAL. The four-year-old is entered in the Tattersalls December Mare Sale where she will be consigned by Dwayne and Wendyll Woods' Brook Stud . The daughter of ROCK OF GIBRALTAR is also a graduate of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling where Dwayne Woods purchased her for 130,000 guineas from Round Hill Stud.

Dwayne Woods, Bloodstock Manager for Andrew Tinkler, commented;

"We are thrilled with the win of Royal Diamond and with Belle De Crecy's Group 1 second. They are catalogued in the Autumn Horses in Training Sale and  December Mare Sale respectively and the plan is for both of them to head to Tattersalls".

The win of SEAL OF APPROVAL also provided a further boost to the Tattersalls December Sale with her dam HANNDA set to be offered in foal to SEPOY as part of the Kiltinan Castle Stud draft and her half-sister INSTANCE to be offered in foal to MAKFI as part of the draft from Three Chimney Sales.

The Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale takes place from October 28-31 whilst the Tattersalls December Mare Sale takes place from December 2-5. Catalogues for the Autumn Horses in Training Sale are out now whilst the December Mare Sale catalogue will be online early next week.
