The son of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT was sold at Book 1 of Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Mount Coote Stud to Shadwell Estate Co. for 130,000gns.

Earlier in the day, the Mick Channon-trained MALABAR beat the boys by an impressive three lengths in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Stakes, under jockey Silvestre de Sousa.

The daughter of RAVEN’S PASS was bought by Gill Richardson for 70,000gns at Book 1 of Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and consigned by Woodcote Stud who will offer a half brother by RIP VAN WINKLE at this year’s sale.

Further Group-race success at Goodwood today came from DUBDAY, a graduate of Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, who won the Group 3 Glorious Stakes.  The son of DUBAWI was bought for just 11,000gns by Trybuhl in 2012 and his half-brother by SIR PERCY will be offered by Redpender Stud at Book 2 of this year’s October Yearling Sale.

Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale takes place from October 6 – 8 and will feature the only yearlings eligible for the all-new Tattersalls October ‘Book 1 Bonus’ which offers a £25,000 bonus to any two-year-old graduate who wins a Class 2, 3 or 4 Maiden in Great Britain or an ‘Open’ Maiden in Ireland.
