The Karl Burke trained filly ODELIZ added another huge update to her already impressive catalogue page by landing the Group 1 Premio Lydia Tesio for her owner Barbara Keller.

Already the winner of the Group 1 Prix Jean Romanet at Deauville in August, the five year old daughter of FALCO is catalogued as lot 2018 at the forthcoming Tattersalls December Sale, where she will be consigned by agent Jamie Railton. Admirably tough and consistent having won or been placed in 15 of 23 starts, ODELIZ’s win in the Group 1 Premio Lydia Tesio was her sixth win, her fourth at Group and Listed level, and took her total earnings to more than £420,000.

The very well bred ODELIZ is from the direct family of Champion racemare TRIPTYCH, out of the EFISIO mare ACATAMA, herself a half sister to Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks winner AMORAMA. AMORAMA is already the dam of the high class Andre Fabre trained three year old AMPERE, winner of this year’s Group 2 Prix Hocquart and second in the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris.

ODELIZ is one of five Classic and Group 1 winners catalogued for the forthcoming Tattersalls December Sale which takes place November 23rd to December 3rd. The other four comprise this year’s Oak winner QUALIFY, 2014 European Champion two year old filly TIGGY WIGGY, 2014 Group 1 Prix Jean Romanet winner RIBBONS and multiple South African Group 1 winner IN THE FAST LANE.
