Four Wildcards Added to Tattersalls July Sale

A sister to ZOUSTAR, the Australian Group 1 winner and exciting young stallion, heads four Wildcard lots that have been added to the Tattersalls July Sale which starts on Wednesday, 10th July and runs through to Friday, 12th July. 

 

Catalogued as lot 177A is AT LAST, the three-year-old daughter of GALILEO will be offered in training by The Castlebridge Consignment. AT LAST is out of the REDOUTE’S CHOICE mare ZOUZOU, dam of the Group 1 Ascot Vale Stakes and Group 1 Golden Rose Stakes winner ZOUSTAR who has made a sensational start to his stud career in Australia. She will be offered on the opening day of the Tattersalls July Sale on Wednesday, 10th July. 

 

The remaining three Wildcard lots will be offered during the evening session of the Tattersalls July Sale on Friday, 12th July. First up will be the Gay Kelleway-trained COSMELLI who is catalogued as lot 798A. The Listed-winning son of MR VEGAS was a close up fifth in the Northumberland Plate on the weekend off an official BHA mark of 96 and is ‘Timeform’ rated 103 following the race.

 

The next lot in will be the Andrea Marcialis-trained BRIAN RYAN who is catalogued as lot 798B. The four-year-old son of FINJAAN is trained in France and has won five of his six starts this year, culminating in his last start victory in the Group 3 Grosser Preis der Landeshaupstadt Dresden. He is offered with a ‘Timeform’ rating of 106. 

 

The final of the quartet of Wildcard lots is the Michael Bell-trained NEW SHOW who is catalogued as lot 862A. The four-year-old son of NEW APPROACH and the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes winner MUSIC SHOW won his fourth race from only 10 starts at Catterick on Monday when winning a 1 mile 4 furlong handicap on Good to Firm ground off an official BHA mark of 87. He will be offered with a ‘Timeform’ rating of 97. 

 

The catalogue for the 2019 Tattersalls July Sale can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com and is available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls Representatives. Numbering 908 lots, the sale comprises 818 horses and fillies in/out of training and 90 broodmares, seven of which have foals at foot. Taking place Wednesday 10th - Friday 12th July, the three-day sale features high class consignments from many of the world’s leading owner/breeders including Cheveley Park Stud, Godolphin, Hascombe and Valiant Stud, Juddmonte Farms, Moyglare Stud Farm, Newsells Park Stud and Shadwell Estates.
