The top lot for the day was Lot 172, the bay filly by SINNDAR out of the DARSHAAN mare ALASANA who was knocked down to agent Liam Norris for 170,000 guineas. The filly is a sister to ALASHA, the Sir Michael Stoute trained filly who was third in the Group 1 1000 Guineas in 2002. Consigned to the sale from David and Diane Nagle’s Barronstown Stud,  the filly was purchased by Norris after he saw off the efforts of agent Charlie Gordon-Watson and will go into training with Sussex based trained William Knight.

Richardson and Abdullah have enjoyed success at the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale previously, with the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes winning filly NAHOODH a 19,000 guineas graduate of the 2006 renewal of the sale.
