Morning Wonder Wins 71st Book 1 Bonus and Earns £38,969

MORNING WONDER became the 71^st winner of a £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus when he won the British Stallion Studs EBF Filbert Novice Stakes at Leicester yesterday. He was the second winner of a bonus for the day and collected a total of £38,969 for his victory for trainer Kevin Ryan and owner Sultan Ali.

MORNING WONDER was offered at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Genesis Green Stud where he was bought back for 65,000 guineas. The son of DAWN APPROACH is one of 15 winners of a £25,000 Book 1 Bonus this year who were bought or sold in for less than 100,000 guineas.

Houghton Bloodstock will offer a SHAMARDAL half-sister to MORNING WONDER as lot 113 at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, which features the only eligible lots for the £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus. The sale takes place October 3^rd – 5^th.
