MERLIN’S LADY claimed the 245th £20,000 October Book 1 Bonus with a debut victory full of promise in the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Ayr. The daughter of CAMELOT earned a total of £25,400 for her owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum and is an own-sister to the multiple Group winner HUNTING HORN. MERLIN’S LADY was purchased for 320,000 guineas by her trainer Kevin Ryan at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale from the draft of Glenvale Stud, who will offer her CHURCHILL half-sister this year at October Book 1 as lot 168.
