The son of first-season-sire ALMANZOR and is out of the Group 1 winner ALLEGRETTO, already the dam of the Listed winner and Group 2 runner up CABALETTA. ABBADO was bought back for 60,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and earned his owner Cheveley Park Stud a total of £25,978 for his victory.
