The Ger Lyons trained ALEX D became the 220th winner of a £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus, taking the total value of prize money paid out by the scheme to £5,500,000. The son of OASIS DREAM was a 75,000 guineas purchase at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale from Houghton Bloodstock and collected €33,540 for his victory.
