The Kodiac colt Dividend caused a major upset on his second start when winning the British EBF Maiden Stakes at Sandown for trainers Dr Richard Newland and Jamie Insole at odds of 50/1 and collecting a £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus at the same time.
Dividend was purchased for 57,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Insole and Houston & Houldsworth Bloodstock from the draft of Sherbourne Lodge. The colt is the 360th winner of a Tattersalls Book 1 Bonus and earned connections £30,400 for the victory.
