12,000 Guineas Tattersalls Classic Winner
The Adrian Keatley-trained JET SETTING caused an upset when taking out the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas at The Curragh today. The daughter of FAST COMPANY raced on the pace and fought bravely to hold off the 1,000 Guineas winner MINDING to secure a narrow victory under jockey Shane Foley.
JET SETTING was purchased for 12,000 guineas at the 2015 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale by Kilbride Equine’s John Kilbride. The three-year-old filly is one of a remarkable 8 Group 1 winners in the last three years purchased at the sale.
The next chance to buy a horse in training at Tattersalls is at the July Sale that takes place from July 5-8.
