Al Suhail Wins 170th Book 1 Bonus and Earns £37,352

The Charlie Appleby-trained AL SUHAIL became the 170th £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus winner when successful in the EBF Stallions Novice Stakes at Yarmouth. The son of DUBAWI earned a total of £37,352 for his owner, Godolphin. 

Offered at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Meon Valley Stud, the bay colt is out of the Group 1 Epsom and Irish Oaks winner SHIROCCO STAR and a half brother to this year’s Group 2 Dante Stakes winner TELECASTER. AL SUHAIL was purchased at Book 1 by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock for 1.1 million guineas.
