Exciting Southern Hemisphere covered mares BLESSED TRULY and MORALESS have been added to the Tattersalls December Mares Sale in addition to the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac winning two-year-old VERTICAL BLUE and ZERO GRAVITY, the dam of outstanding Group 1 British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes winner KALPANA.  

BLESSED TRULY will join ZERO GRAVITY in the Sceptre Session on Monday 2nd December and will be consigned by Culworth Grounds Farm. A five length winner of the Muskoka Stakes at Woodbine as a two-year-old, BLESSED TRULY is a half-sister to the dam of top Australian three-year-old SWITZERLAND, the brilliant two and three-quarter length winner of the Gr.1 Coolmore Stud Stakes on his most recent start. By leading Canadian sire SOUPER SPEEDY, a son of outstanding sire and broodmare sire INDIAN CHARLIE, BLESSED TRULY is offered in foal on a Southern Hemisphere covering to young Champion sire TOO DARN HOT, already the sire of Irish 1000 Guineas winner FALLEN ANGEL, Group 1 Futurity Trophy Stakes winner HOTAZHELL and three-time Australian Group 1 winner BROADSIDING.  

Also added to the Monday session is the Imperium Sales consigned four-year-old MORALESS, the beautifully bred half-sister to the Group 2 winning and Group 1 placed pair HUNTING HORN and DAVID LIVINGSTON who will also be offered in foal on a Southern Hemisphere cover to TOO DARN HOT. By GALILEO’s dual Guineas winning son CHURCHILL, MORALESS is out of the INDIAN RIDGE mare MORA BAI, a half-sister to dual Derby winner HIGH CHAPARRAL and to the dam of French Oaks winner FANCY BLUE.  

Following an extraordinary start to his career at stud in both hemispheres, last year’s Champion first season sire TOO DARN HOT has three further mares in foal on Southern Hemisphere covers already catalogued in the Tattersalls December Mares Sale. They are led by the twice Group placed YOU SEND ME, second by a head in the Group 3 Athasi Stakes, who will be offered in Monday’s Sceptre Session by Fozzy Stack’s Thomastown Castle Stables. The four-year-old daughter of STARSPANGLEDBANNER is out of a half-sister to 1000 Guineas second JACQUELINE QUEST, the dam of Breeders’ Cup winner LINE OF DUTY and three further Group/Listed performing fillies.  

YOU SEND ME will be joined by the six length Listed winner and Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes fourth TANGO. Consigned by Norelands, the daughter of NO NAY NEVER is from a deep black type family and her SEA THE STARS colt realised 500,000 guineas at Book 1 of this year’s Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.  

Completing the quintet is the Group 3 runner up ZOINNOCENT, second behind the Classic placed NEVER ENDING STORY in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown, who will be offered by Avenue Sales. An own-sister to Group 3 Gallinule Stakes winner and Group 1 Futurity Trophy Stakes fourth HANNIBAL BARCA, ZOINNOCENT is by ZOFFANY, already the broodmare sire of Group 1 winner TAMFANA, out of a multiple Listed winning GALILEO mare from the family of Group 1 winners FOLK OPERA, PROPORTIONAL, and ROMANTIC WARRIOR.  

There are also eight mares in foal to TOO DARN HOT catalogued in the Tattersalls Online December Sale scheduled to take place on 11th – 12th December, led by the dual Group 3 placed GALILEO mare KNOW THYSELF. A collaboration between Tattersalls Online and Inglis Digital, the ‘Southern Hemisphere Session’ is a unique offering of mares covered to Southern Hemisphere time with further entries to be announced.
