Bossy Guest Wins The £100,000 Tattersalls Millions 3YO Sprint
Mick Channon saddled Bossy Guest to win the nine runner £100,000 Tattersalls Millions 3YO Sprint at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Racecourse today, the penultimate race of the 2014/15 £1.3 million Tattersalls Millions series.
The son of Medicean was bought by Gill Richardson from Cooneen Stud at the 2013 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 for 72,000 guineas. Bossy Guest won two races in 2014, ending his campaign with a third in the £500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy.
After the race Mick Channon commented, “He got squeezed out a bit at the start; the horses came across him, quickened up and got away a few lengths but he won nicely in the end. He was a good horse last year and I’m pleased he’s gone on. He’s entered for the 2,000 Guineas but we’ll get him home and then see.”
Ballymore Castle, who was a 67,000 guinea purchase, was second for Richard Fahey, with the Aidan O’Brien trained The Warrior in third.
