Breeding Right to Ardad to be Offered on TattersallsOnline.com

A breeding right to the exciting young stallion ARDAD will be offered as part of the Tattersalls Online June 29th Sale and will be the first breeding right to be offered online in Britain or Ireland. The sale features 83 lots with six additional lots added since the catalogue was originally published.

ARDAD, who is by Tally-Ho Stud’s high-class stallion KODIAC, stands at Simon Sweeting’s Overbury Stud and has made a sensational start to his career at stud with 12 individual winners in his first crop of runners. Leading the way amongst his winners is Richard Fahey’s PERFECT POWER who stormed to an impressive victory in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and now looks set to tackle the Group 1 Prix Morny Stakes in Deauville. 

Fahey had been narrowly denied two days earlier when VINTAGE CLARETS, another son of ARDAD, had finished a close-up third in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes whilst his other runners at the Royal Meeting included ADMIRAL D, BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE, EVE LODGE and SUPERIOR FORCE, who are all winners.

ARDAD, who won the Group 2 Flying Childers and Listed Windsor Castle Stakes as a two-year-old, has covered in excess of 150 mares this season at Overbury Stud. He currently heads the Leading Sires of 2YOS in Europe table by Wins and Earnings.
