A breeding right to ACLAIM has been added to the Tattersalls Online May 5th Sale, which also features a breeding right to Darley’s promising young sire PROFITABLE.

ACLAIM’s burgeoning stud career reached new heights at Newmarket on Sunday when first-crop daughter CACHET recorded a memorable triumph in the 1000 Guineas for trainer George Boughey and owners Highclere Thoroughbred Racing. CACHET had claimed the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes on her seasonal debut following an admirable juvenile campaign in which she was placed in the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile and the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes and fourth in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Winner of the Group 1 Prix de la Foret and runner up in the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest, ACLAIM stands at the National Stud and covered in excess of 400 mares in his first four years at stud. The son of ACCLAMATION, also the sire of leading stallions MEHMAS and DARK ANGEL, is out of a half-sister to the Irish 1000 Guineas winner AGAIN from the family of outstanding sire MONTJEU. His first crop have impressed on the racecourse with 66% winners to runners and Group/Listed performers including Group 2 runner up JACINDA and Listed placed WOMAN OF CIPREA and BEAUTIFUL BLACK. Smart two-year-olds this year include PRIMROSE RIDGE, a seven-length winner at Beverley for Darryl Holland who is set to run in the Listed Marygate Fillies’ Stakes at York. ACLAIM currently sits at the top of the European second-crop sires table by prize money.

Details of the breeding right, which includes the right to use Aclaim this year, are outlined on the website at www.tattersallsonline.com with the full Breeding Right agreement and deed of sale available by request via email to tattersallsonline@tattersalls.com.

MUTAHAMISA is another exciting addition to the catalogue and will be offered in foal to promising young stallion ARDAD, already the sire of dual Group 1 winner PERFECT POWER. The daughter of sire sensation MEHMAS was herself a winner at two and three and is a half-sister to the Listed Devoy Stakes winner STILL STANDING from the family of dual European Champion XAAR, Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas winner SISKIN and American multiple Grade 1 winners CLOSE HATCHES and SENURE.
