The Roger Varian trained DEAR POWER became the 160th winner of a £25,000 October Book 1 Bonus winner when taking out the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Chelmsford. It means that a total of £4,000,000 in Book 1 Bonuses have now been paid out. The son of ACCLAMATION was purchased by Sackville Donald’s Alastair Donald for 350,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale from the draft of Kildaragh Stud.
