Nineteen wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, headed by the highly regarded Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed three-year-old colt DELIUS, who will be consigned by Coolmore. The sale will take place from Monday 28th October to Friday 1st November and the wildcard lots can be viewed at www.tattersalls.com.

Rated 118 by Timeform, DELIUS only began his career in April this year and was successful on his first three starts, culminating in the Group 3 Prix du Lys at Chantilly. A 675,000 guineas Tattersalls December Foal Sale purchase, the three-year-old FRANKEL colt was then third in the Group 1 Grand Prix du Paris behind the high-class SOSIE and ILLINOIS. A second place to SOSIE in the Group 2 Prix Niel followed, before his latest start saw him finish eighth in the Group 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, with Classic and Group 1 winners FANTASTIC MOON, SUNWAY, AL RIFFA, LOOK DE VEGA, MQSE DE SEVIGNE and CONTINUOUS all behind him.

Another FRANKEL three-year-old colt wildcard entry from Coolmore is THE EUPHRATES. Out of AULD ALLIANCE, a Listed placed half-sister to the 2,000 Guineas winner GOLAN, the 119 Timeform rated colt tasted success in the Listed Marble City Stakes in July before going on to land the €600,000 Irish Cesarewitch at the end of September.

Coolmore have also added HIS MAJESTY to the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale catalogue. The three-year-old NO NAY NEVER colt made a winning debut as a two-year-old in the Listed First Flier Stakes at the Curragh. Since then, he has placed in the Group 3 Marble Hill Stakes, Group 2 Railway Stakes and Group 2 Prix Robert Papin, earning a Timeform rating of 104.

Leading the two-year-old wildcards is the 109 rated Ballydoyle trained MONUMENTAL, a KINGMAN colt who won his maiden at Gowran Park before finishing second to the unbeaten BAY CITY ROLLER in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes and, most recently, finishing third behind THE WACO KID (lot 1059) in the Group 3 Tattersalls Stakes.

LA BELLOTA is another two-year-old addition to the catalogue to have placed in Group 2 company, finishing a neck second to the unbeaten POWERFUL GLORY in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes. Rated 105 by Timeform, the John Ryan-trained son of MEHMAS was fourth on his most recent start in the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes.

Others additional two-year-olds of note include last time out winners HIGH SEASON and ANTONIN DVORAK, both NEW BAY colts and rated 93p and 87p respectively, as well as the INNS OF COURT colt THEBELMONTGANGSTER, a ready winner of a Curragh maiden last time out for Natalia Lupini earning him a Timeform rating of 85p. Maidens NOVEMBER AIR, a RIBCHESTER filly who finished second on her only start, SECOND GUESS, a WOOTTON BASSETT colt from the family of the Derby and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner WORKFORCE, and SPIRIT OF SUMMER, a MOHAATHER colt with a Timeform rating of 92, round off the two-year-old wildcard entries alongside an unraced son of MEHMAS consigned by Barton Sales.

Three-year-old Group 3 winner AL SHABAB STORM, winner of the Group 3 Goldene Peitsche for trainer Andrew Balding at the end of August is another notable wildcard entry. The son of Advertise also won the 7 furlong Listed City Plate at Chester earlier this season and boasts a Timeform rating of 113.

JACKS MY BOY is an unexposed three-year-old son of KUROSHIO who has won his last two starts over a mile for Sean Woods and is rated 84 by Timeform, whilst GRAND CITY HALL is Timeform rated 99 having won twice over six furlongs this season for Co. Kildare based trainer Jarlath Fahey.

Bringing dual-purpose form to the wildcard entries is the Dominic Ffrench Davis trained ITHACA’S ARROW. The ULYSSES four-year-old gelding out of a winning daughter of the Oaks winner CASUAL LOOK has won or been placed in all three of his starts on the Flat this season, yet also warranted a start in the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival having shed his maiden tag over hurdles at Newbury at the beginning of March.

Completing the wildcards are a trio from Sheila Lavery’s Chinook Stables. Rated 108 by Timeform, TORIVEGA has proved to be a smart sprinter, with the LOPE DE VEGA four-year-old gelding out of the Champion Irish two-year-old filly VIZTORIA finishing strongly to be third in the Group 3 Renaissance Stakes at the end of September. The three-year-old FOOTSTEPSINTHESAND colt VESTIGIA is rated 100 by Timeform and GLOBAL ENERGY, a five-year-old son of SHOWCASING, is Timeform rated 95.
