Eight Wildcards Added to Tattersalls July Sale
Eight wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls July Sale which takes place from Wednesday 7th to Friday 9th July. The additional lots will be offered on the opening day of the sale on Wednesday 7th July.
Two lots consigned by David Simcock’s Trillium Place Stables head the eight wildcards and both look certain to attract plenty of attention. The four-year-old INDIGO TIMES, who has won four times this year, boasts a Timeform rating of 95 and will be catalogued as lot 283A. INDIGO TIMES will be joined by the unexposed three-year-old MUHAARAR gelding BRINGSTY as lot 283B, who broke his maiden impressively at Haydock on his most recent start and will be offered with a Timeform rating of 90p.
Smart three-year-old WARRIOR BRAVE will offer high-class sprinting form, having finished second in the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown last month for trainer Michael Appleby behind the exciting ATALIS BAY. The TWILIGHT SON gelding is a three-time winner with an official rating of 100 and will be consigned by Jamie Railton as lot 283C.
Another exciting wildcard is Amy Murphy’s two-year-old filly ZEBELLE, an easy winner of her only start at Ripon. Catalogued as lot 283E, ZEBELLE is out of a half-sister to three stakes performers from a strong Juddmonte family and her sire PROFITABLE has already achieved notable success with his first crop of runners including the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes winner QUICK SUZY.
Also set to attract plenty of interest is the Jamie Osborne-trained PRETTY SWEET who will be offered as lot 283D by the Castlebridge Consignment. The three-year-old daughter of IFFRAAJ produced a promising effort when finishing strongly to be second on her first start last month.
Joseph O’Brien’s Carriganog Racing will offer two well-bred three-year-old fillies in MY SWEET MARY and COMICAL, catalogued as lots 283G and 283H respectively. MY SWEET MARY is a FASTNET ROCK half-sister to the dual Graded-placed STAR EMPIRE whilst the NO NAY NEVER filly COMICAL is from the top-class Cheveley Park family of Group 1 Fillies’ Mile winner RED BLOOM and is a half-siter to the Listed-placed CHICAS AMIGAS.
