Foreteller Group 1 Win Heads Tattersalls Horses In Training Double
The Chris Waller trained FORETELLER became the fourth Group 1 winning graduate in Australia in the last two years from the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale when he won the Group 1 Ranvet Stakes at Rosehill. Earlier in the day the Gai Waterhouse trained JULIENAS won the Listed Sky High Stakes at the same meeting to provide a memorable double for Tattersalls graduates.
FORETELLER came win a late surge to beat the Group 1 Victoria Derby winner FIVEANDAHALFSTAR in the Ranvet Stakes to win his ninth race and his sixth since joining Waller. Bought for 100,000 guineas from the Juddmonte Farms draft at the 2010 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, the son of DANSILI has now won in excess of AU$800,000. He becomes the ninth Group 1 winning graduate of the world’s largest horses in training sale since 2010 and will now head for the Group 1 The BMW.
JULIENAS highlighted the quality available at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale when he ran out easy winner of the Listed Sky High Stakes providing and 1-2-3 for imported runners. The son of CAPE CROSS was purchased by Gai Waterhouse and McKeever Bloodstock for 75,000 guineas at the 2011 renewal of the sale and will now target the Group 1 Sydney Cup.
The next sale at Tattersalls is the Craven Breeze Up Sale which takes place on April 16–18 whilst the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale takes place on October 28-31 and the Tattersalls July Sale on July 9-12.
