Four Wildcard Entries Added To Tattersalls August Online Sale
The Tattersalls Online August Sale, the second online sale to be run by Europe’s leading bloodstock auctioneers has been further enhanced by the addition of four exciting wildcard entries. A total of twelve entries have now been catalogued for the sale.
Bidding will open on Wednesday 12th August at midday (BST) and conclude at midday (BST) on Friday 14th August.
Additional entries include:
COILL AVON a two-year-old son of KINGMAN who will be offered by Ger Lyon’s Glenburnie Stables. The progressive colt by the Champion three-year-old miler ran out the impressive winner of his Maiden over 6 furlongs at the Curragh on 26th July and has an official Irish rating of 90. He is the first produce of CZABO, the Group 3 Lodge Park Express Stakes winner.
Limerick Maiden scorer GREAT HOUSE, a four-year-old colt by the champion sire GALILEO is another exciting additional entry. Donnacha O’Brien’s charge stayed on strongly to score over 1m 4f on only his second start on 29th June.
Night Of Thunder to the fore
Four-year-old Mare DIANTHA, a half-sister to this year’s Group 2 Dante hero THUNDEROUS (NIGHT OF THUNDER), in foal to the 2000 Guineas winner and sire sensation NIGHT OF THUNDER, will be offered on the online platform by Ballygreany Stud, Ireland. DIANTHA is out of the Listed winning SOUVIENS TOI.
Completing the additional entries is SWEETY DREAM, winner of the Group 3 Prix Miesque over 7 furlongs as a two-year-old in her native France, also carrying to the sire sensation NIGHT OF THUNDER. She will be offered by Oghill House Stud, Ireland.
The TattersallsOnline.com platform features photos and videos of each horse, details of where the horses can be inspected, as well as links to veterinary information including x-rays and endoscopes.
Prospective purchasers are required to register or logon and join the sale ahead of the commencement of bidding, subject to approval by Tattersalls accounts team.
