Four Wildcards added to Tattersalls August Sale

Four wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls August Sale which takes place on Wednesday 31st August.

The first to be offered is the two-year-old debut winner DISDAINFUL. The KESSAAR colt made the perfect start to his career for Hugo Palmer, coming home a comfortable two lengths clear of his rivals in a seven and a half furlong Novice at Ffos Las on good ground. Catalogued as lot 265, DISDAINFUL will be consigned by Jamie Railton and boasts a Timeform rating of 76p.

Next in the catalogue is fellow two-year-old D J ZANETTI. Consigned by Ian Williams’ Dominion Racing Stables, the son of ESTIDHKAAR finished a highly promising second on debut when beaten just a neck in a typically strong looking Sandown Park seven furlong Maiden. Open to plenty of progress with a Timeform rating of 77p, D J ZANETTI is catalogued as lot 265A.

Lot 265B is THREE START, a three-year-old son of MUHAARAR out of the multiple Group 2 winning and Group 1 placed FRONT HOUSE. The own-brother to the Listed placed filly CONCESSIONS is rated 87 by Timeform and was last seen finishing third in a one mile Pontefract Novice Stakes for William Haggas, whose Somerville Lodge will consign him at the August Sale.

Completing the quartet is JUST WONDER, also consigned by Somerville Lodge and catalogued as lot 265C. The SIYOUNI three-year-old out of the Group 3 placed WONDERSTRUCK hails from the family of multiple Group 1 winners GEORGE WASHINGTON and GRANDERA. JUST WONDER finished a close second in a Carlisle Maiden on his latest start and is rated 77 by Timeform.
