Frankel’s Storm Wins 168th Book 1 Bonus and Earns £42,850

The Mark Johnston-trained FRANKEL’S STORM became the 168th winner of a Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus when taking out the EBF Future Stayers’ Maiden at Carlisle by a convincing eight lengths. The daughter of FRANKEL won the significant sum of £42,850 for breaking her maiden for owner Nick Bradley Racing.

Watership Down Stud consigned the filly out of the Listed winning mare GALE FORCE, a half-sister to Group 1 British Champion Fillies/Mares Stakes winner SEAL OF APPROVAL, at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale where she was purchased by Nick Bradley Racing and Mark Johnston for 130,000 guineas. FRANKEL’S STORM’s full-brother is to be offered at this year’s renewal of the sale by John Troy on behalf of Normandie Stud and is catalogued as Lot 306.
