Group 1 Win for Craven Breeze Up Purchase Contributer
CONTRIBUTER, bought for 130,000 guineas at the 2012 renewal of the Craven Breeze Up Sale won the G1 Ranvet Stakes at Rosehill today, his fourth win from five starts in Australia for owners Godolphin and his second Group 1 in succession for trainer John O’Shea.
The son of HIGH CHAPARRAL was purchased by agent Angie Loder for 130,000 guineas at the Craven Breeze Up Sale in 2012 from the draft of Norman Williamson’s Oak Tree Farm. He is one of 58 Group/Listed performers from the sale since 2012.
Oak Tree Farm is represented by a draft of eight two-year-olds at this year’s Craven Breeze Up whilst the ill-fated HIGH CHAPARRAL has a colt and a filly catalogued. Catalogues for the sale are out now and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives and online at www.tattersalls.com.
