Group 3 Winning Two Year Old Filly Oscula Added to Tattersalls December Mares Sale
The Group 3 winning and Group 1 placed two-year-old filly OSCULA has been added to the Tattersalls December Mares Sale as a ‘wildcard' entry and will be offered as lot 1823A on Tuesday 30th November by George Boughey’s Saffron House Stables.
Owned by Nick Bradley Racing, OSCULA broke her maiden on her second start before an impressive three length win in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom. In her seven subsequent starts she has raced exclusively in Group company and demonstrated exceptional consistency, defeating subsequent Group 1 winner ZELLIE to win the Group 3 Prix Six Perfections and placing in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac, the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes, the Group 2 Prix du Calvados and the Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
By 2,000 Guineas winner GALILEO GOLD, whose first crop has also featured Group 1 Phoenix Stakes winner EBRO RIVER, OSCULA is out of the BIG BAD BOB mare BISOUS Y BESOS. Her second dam ADORING is a half-sister to the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes winner and Group 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes runner up GALEOTA, Listed winner and Listed producer LOULWA and LADY LIVIUS, the dam of Group 3 winners BROWN SUGAR and BURNT SUGAR. The family also features several performers who have produced high class form this season including Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes winner WINGS OF WAR, the dual Listed winning sprinter LOGO HUNTER and US Stakes winner ILLEGAL SMILE.
