Guineas Breeze Up Buy Daban Stakes 1,000 Guineas Claims
The John Gosden trained DABAN is as short as 10-1 for the 1,000 Guineas following her facile victory in the Group 3 Landwades Stud Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket and provided a timely boost to next month’s Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up & Horses in Training Sale, from where she was purchased last year.
The daughter of ACCLAMATION was the top-priced filly at last year’s Guineas Breeze Up & Horses in Training Sale at 260,000 guineas. Bred by Peter & Antoinette Kavanagh’s Kildaragh Stud, DABAN was purchased by Blandford Bloodstock’s Richard Brown from the draft of Derryconnor Stud in Ireland.
The Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up & Horses in Training Sale takes place May 4 – 5 with 213 breeze up two year olds and 91 horses in training catalogued. Breezing takes place at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile racecourse on Thursday, May 4 from 9am. Catalogues are out now and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls overseas representatives.
