Half-Brother to Group 1 Nunthorpe Winner Jwala at October 1

The Robert Cowell-trained JWALA provided her EXCEED AND EXCEL half-brother, who is catalogued at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, with a massive catalogue update when winning the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes. The four-year-old daughter of OASIS DREAM defeated the top class sprinters SHEA SHEA and SOLE POWER who had fought out the finish in the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.

JWALA, who is out of the INDIAN RIDGE mare KANGRA VALLEY, was bred by Manor Farm Stud in Rutland who consign his half-brother to October 1. By EXCEED AND EXCEL and catalogued as lot 468, the colt is also a half-brother to the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner AIRWAVE.
