LEGATISSIMO added to her tally of Group 1’s this season as she cruised to victory in the Group 1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown, under the guidance of jockey Wayne Lordan.  Now a triple Group 1 winner, the daughter of DANEHILL DANCER was adding to successes in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood earlier in the year.

Trained by David Wachman, LEGATISSIMO was purchased by MV Magnier for 350,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale from the draft of Newsells Park Stud. The Jacobs Family’s nursery offer a half-sister by REDOUTE’S CHOICE as part of their 22 strong draft at Europe’s premier yearling sale this year. Out of YUMMY MUMMY, Lot 24 is also from the family of Irish Derby winning FAME AND GLORY.
