Nine Wildcards Added to Tattersalls Online June Sale
Nine wildcards have been added to the Tattersalls Online June Sale, which opens for bidding at 10.00am on Friday June 10th and will close from 12 noon. The nine supplementary entries are in addition to the diverse catalogue of 38 lots which includes a share in Champion French Sire SIYOUNI and Group 1 King’s Stand entry LOGO HUNTER.
The wildcards are highlighted by the winning point-to-point debutant SOME SCOPE. Keeping his rivals under pressure throughout, the four-year-old gelding landed an impressive victory at Tralee, with plenty left in the tank to win the 4YO Maiden by four and a half lengths. By GALILEO’s Champion dual Group 2 winning son TELESCOPE, SOME SCOPE is offered by Mick Goff’s Moate Stables.
Amongst other highlights is the well-bred MASTERCRAFTSMAN mare SPIRIT OF ROME who is in foal to the Classic producing sire NATHANIEL. Out of the OLD VIC mare ZAGREB FLYER, this mare hails from a black type family, led by the Group 3 winner VENTURI, the Listed winner and Group 1 placed FEELS ALL RIGHT and the Grade 3 winning hurdler JOE JO STAR.
Other wildcards of note include the Gary Moore trained LE HAVRE four-year-old MADAA, a recent bumper winner on debut at Warwick; four-time winner GLOBAL ESTEEM, an own brother to the Listed winner and Group 3 placed TERROR, and point-to-point placegetter, TUFF DAYS, who fought out a thrilling battle to finish second behind KAITUNA RIVER at Dromahane.
