Oaks Winner Qualify To Sell At Tattersalls December Sale

This year’s Oaks winner QUALIFY is to be sold at the forthcoming Tattersalls December Sale which takes place November 23rd - December 3rd. 

Trained by Aidan O’Brien to win the Oaks for owner Chantal Regalado Gonzalez, the regally bred daughter of FASTNET ROCK will be the first Epsom Oaks winner to be sold at public auction in the year of her Classic triumph for more than 50 years and will be offered from the The Castlebridge Consignment.

An outstanding individual, QUALIFY’s finest hour came at Epsom where she produced a devastating late run to deny 1000 Guineas winner LEGATISSIMO on the line, with a quality field of fillies strung out behind her. The winner of the Group 3 C.L. & M.F. Weld Park Stakes at The Curragh as a two year old, QUALIFY has won three races and more than £300,000 in prize money.

QUALIFY hails from the superb Juddmonte family of Derby winner WORKFORCE and Kentucky Oaks winner FLUTE. She is the third foal out of the Group 2 Park Hill Stakes placed GALILEO mare PERIHELION, and her two year old own brother is the highly promising Group 2 placed SHOGUN who was beaten less than two lengths in the Group 1 Prix Jean - Luc Lagardere at the weekend.

In addition to Oaks winner QUALIFY, The Castlebridge Consignment will be offering a number of other enticing fillies and mares on behalf of Chantal Regalado Gonzalez, including the Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed mare EUPHRASIA, carrying her first foal by Classic sire SEA THE STARS, and the multiple Group 3 winning mare YELLOW ROSEBUD, in foal to proven Group 1 sire DUTCH ART.
