Path Of Thunder Wins Second £15,000 Craven Breeze Up Bonus and Earns £28,969

The Charlie Appleby-trained PATH OF THUNDER became the second winner of a £15,000 Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Bonus when victorious in the EBF Novice Stakes at Haydock.  The son of Godolphin’s first season sire NIGHT OF THUNDER earned a total of £28,969 for his owner, made up of £6,469 in prize money, £7,500 from the Plus 10 Bonus and £15,000 from the Craven Breeze Up Bonus.

The chesnut colt is out of the STREET CRY mare SUNSET AVENUE and is a half-brother to Stakes performer EXCELLENT SUNSET, from the family of multiple US Group 1 winner BALLETO.  PATH OF THUNDER was offered at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale by Brown Island Stables where he was purchased by Godolphin for 375,000 guineas.
