Quality Wild Cards For Tattersalls December Sale

Two high class fillies in training, a Group producing mare and a well bred yearling have been added to the forthcoming Tattersalls December Sale as 'Wild Card' lots.

The two fillies in training, GUINNEVRE and PEARLS OR PASSION are catalogued as lots 1570A and 1857A respectively. GUINNEVRE, a three year old daughter of DUKE OF MARMALADE out of the Listed winning GALILEO mare GALISTIC won the Listed Baden - Baden Cup for trainer Andreas Wohler and will be consigned by The Castlebridge Consignment.

The regally bred PEARLS OR PASSION, by German superstar sire MONSUN out of the Group 1 Prix Vermeille winner PEARLY SHELLS, comes to the Tattersalls December Sale fresh from an impressive recent win in the Listed Prix Panacee at Toulouse. Trained by Francois Rohaut, the consistent four year old filly was also second in the Listed Prix Joubert at Saint Cloud, fourth in the Group 3 T. Von Zastrow Stutenpreis at Baden - Baden, and a highly creditable close up fifth behind subsequent Group 1 winner ROMANTICA in the Group 3 Prix Allez France. 

PEARLS OR PASSION will be consigned by European Sales Management who will also be responsible for the ten year old NIGHT SHIFT mare NANTES. In foal to HENRYTHENAVIGATOR, NANTES is the dam of the Group 3 winner and Group 2 placed ROCKINANTE and will sell as lot 1801A.

Completing the quartet is a yearling colt by KODIAC out of the winning BARATHEA mare DEPORTMENT. The colt will be consigned by Castletown Stud and will sell as lot 162A on Monday 25th November.

The Tattersalls December Yearling Sale takes place Monday 25th November, followed by the Tattersalls December Foal Sale from Wednesday 27th - Saturday 30th November. The December Breeding Stock Sale takes place Monday 2nd December - Thursday 5th December.
