The Ralph Beckett trained SANDTRAP ran out an emphatic winner of this Fillies’ Maiden at Salisbury to claim the 26th £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus of 2024, the 377th in total. The daughter of LOPE DE VEGA is out of the MORE THAN READY mare ZINDAYA and is a full-sister to the US Grade 1 winner CARL SPACKLER. SANDTRAP was bought by agent Alex Elliott for 450,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale from the draft of Ballylinch Stud. She collected her owners Valmont and Ballylinch Stud a total of £43,039 in prize money.
