Tattersalls Auctioneer John O'Kelly to Sell at Osarus Breeze Up

Tattersalls auctioneer John O'Kelly is to make his first appearance at an Osarus sale when he takes to the rostrum at the Hippodrome de Pornichet for the Osarus Breeze Up Sale on Tuesday 30th April. Bilingual in English and French, O'Kelly has been one of Europe's pre-eminent bloodstock auctioneers for nearly 30 years, with career highlights including the sale of broodmare MAGICAL ROMANCE for a then world record 4,600,000 guineas at the 2006 Tattersalls December Sale.

Commenting on his debut at Osarus, O'Kelly said; 

"Osarus is an emerging force on the European bloodstock sales scene and it will be a pleasure to join their own Emmanuel Viaud at Pornichet for my first Osarus appearance. They have put together a good, solid, commercial catalogue for the Breeze Up and I am very much looking forward to the sale."

Proven Group 1 sires DESERT STYLE, DR FONG, GREEN TUNE, MANDURO, ORATORIO, ORPEN, REFUSE TO BEND, SLICKLY, SUNDAY BREAK and WHIPPER are all well represented, as are exciting first crop sires ARCHIPENKO, ARTISTE ROYALE, BARASTRAIGHT, BUSHRANGER, CREACHADOIR, LE HAVRE, NAAQOOS and SOLDIER OF FORTUNE. 

The breeze takes place at the Hippodrome de Pornichet on Tuesday 30th April starting at 8.30am and the sale begins at 2.30pm. Pornichet is located about 45 minutes from Nantes airport which has direct flights from many European cities including London, Southampton, Madrid and Dusseldorf.
