As ever, many of the world's leading owner/breeders have significant consignments including Ballydoyle Stables, Darley, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates. 24 of the current top 25 British Flat trainers have consignments, including Richard Hannon, Mark Johnston, Richard Fahey, John Gosden, Sir Michael Stoute, William Haggas, Kevin Ryan, Andrew Balding, Charlie Hills, Lady Cecil and David O'Meara, as do leading Irish trainers Aidan O'Brien, Jim Bolger, Dermot Weld, David Wachman, Michael Halford, Ger Lyons, John Oxx, Johnny Murtagh, Tommy Stack, Andy Oliver and Jessica Harrington. French and German trained horses add a further international element to the catalogue while the largest consignment, numbering 83 lots, comes from Richard Hannon's all - conquering East Everleigh Stables.
Amongst the probable highlights of the Hannon team is the dual Group 3 winning two-year-old BROWN SUGAR who is the second highest rated two-year-old in the catalogue with an official BHA rating of 111. The current top-rated two-year-old on a mark of 112 is the Mick Channon-trained JALLOTA whose fourth in the Group 1 Prix Morny was followed by a good second in the £100,000 Tattersalls Millions Median Auction Trophy. Other top two-year-olds catalogued include Group and Listed winners GREEN DOOR and EXTORTIONIST, both trained by Ollie Stevens and Kevin Ryan's HOT STREAK coming from consignor Jamie Railton.
Smart French-bred stayer TAC DE BOISTRON, trained in Newmarket by Marco Botti, is the highest rated horse in the catalogue with an official BHA rating of 113. Winner of last year's Group 2 Prix Maurice de Nieuil, TAC DE BOISTRON showed himself to be as good as ever with a hugely impressive 8 length win in the recent Listed Stand Cup at Chester and is declared for the Group 1 Prix du Cadran at Longchamp on Sunday.
Another eye-catching top stayer is last year's Group 1 Irish St Leger hero ROYAL DIAMOND who has won or been placed in four Group 2 and 3 races this year for trainer Johnny Murtagh. ROYAL DIAMOND has an official current rating of 112, while the three top-rated three-year-olds are Ballydoyle's CRISTOFORO COLOMBO and INDIAN CHIEF rated 109 and 108 respectively and the George Baker-trained Listed winner BOOMSHACKERLACKER, also rated 108.
