Tattersalls September Sale Catalogue Now Online
The catalogue for the Tattersalls September Sale is now online and can be viewed at www.tattersalls.com. The September Sale will take place on Tuesday 10th September having previously taken place in late August and numbers 240 lots, comprising 155 colts and geldings in/out of training and 77 fillies and mares in/out of training, as well as seven broodmares.
The sale has been a prolific source of Group winners from as little as 10,000 guineas since 2020, and this year’s Tattersalls September Sale has attracted consignments from many of the UK’s leading trainers including Andrew Balding, Michael Bell, Charlie Hills, Richard Fahey, William Haggas, Richard Hannon, Charlie Johnston, Sir Mark Prescott, David Simcock, Sir Michael Stoute, James Tate and Ed Walker as well as lots offered on behalf of John & Thady Gosden and Roger Varian.
Amongst the highlights of the catalogue is the highly progressive four-year-old GOD OF FIRE who will be offered by Baroda Stud on behalf of Kübler Racing. The four-year-old son of MUHAARAR boasts a Timeform rating of 97 after winning his three most recent starts. Baroda Stud will also offer the promising three-year-old colt DEBORA’S DREAM, the impressive winner of his last two starts earning a Timeform rating of 96. The Roger Varian trained son of SIOUX NATION’s two wins this year have both been over a mile and he is from the family of multiple Group 1 winner HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR. They will be joined by another improving three-year-old miler in PHOENIX PASSION, the winner of his last four starts and Timeform rated 90. The three-year-old son of TOO DARN HOT is a half-brother to the Group winner DR ZEMPF and will be offered by Ed Walker Racing.
The David Simcock trained MOUNTAIN ROAD is Timeform rated 96 following wins on his two most recent starts, and Simcock’s Trillium Place will also offer the Listed placed four-year-old MASCAPONE, who has a current Timeform rating of 99. Another improving middle distance performer is BORN RULER, a regally bred son of KINGMAN out of a daughter of the Classic winner and producer OUIJA BOARD. The consistent four-year-old has a Timeform rating of 97 and will be offered by Sir Mark Prescott’s Heath House Stables. Among the fillies catalogued with smart form are the unexposed VAIN GLORIA, the winner of her first two starts and Timeform rated 94, who will be offered by Jamie Railton.
Among the promising two-year-olds catalogued are the 84-rated colt ZABEEL ROAD, who will be offered by Charlie Johnston’s Kingsley Park on behalf of Rabbah Bloodstock, and DESDEMONA, Timeform rated 85p following an impressive win on her third start. The daughter of SHOWCASING will be offered by Barton Sales on behalf of Tom Clover Racing, and the same connections will also offer the promising INVINCIBLE SPIRIT two-year-old INVICTUS GOLD, who himself earnt a Timeform rating of 75p following a smart win on his second start. Dullingham Park will offer several promising two-year-olds including the 87-rated filly STORM CALL and the Timeform 82 rated colt AIRSPEED, in addition to the highly rated three-year-olds BRAVE EMPIRE and COVER POINT, Timeform rated 96 and 93 respectively.
The Group winners TACTICAL and DUBAI STATION are among the older horses catalogued with proven form, and Baroda Stud will offer a smart draft on behalf of Amo Racing including the Stakes winner and multiple Group placed CRISPY CAT and the highly rated SIR RUMI, BULLET FORCE and MALEX, who will be offered with official ratings of 97, 91, 89 and 88 respectively.
The Castlebridge Consignment will offer the largest draft in the September Sale numbering 26 lots, among them the progressive three-year-old TOURIST who has won and been second on his two most recent starts earning a Timeform rating of 90. He will be joined by the three-year-old filly ORGANIC, a three-time winner in 2024 and Timeform rated 82+.

The Tattersalls September Sale will take place on Tuesday 10th September and buyers unable to attend the sale in person will be able to bid via the Tattersalls Live Internet Bidding platform. Catalogues are online now at www.tattersalls.com and will be available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives on Monday 19th August.
