Tattersalls Yearling Purchase Fifty Stars Wins Group 1 Australian Cup

Tattersalls October Yearling Sale purchase FIFTY STARS won the Group 1 Australian Cup for trainers David & Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig and owner Gerry Ryan at Flemington making it three wins in a row for Tattersalls graduates and Lindsay Park Racing following on from the back-to-back victories of HARLEM in 2018 and 2019.

FIFTY STARS was purchased at Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by agent John Foote on behalf of Ryan from the draft of Airlie Stud. The son of SEA THE STARS, out of the SADLER’S WELLS mare SWIZZLE STICK, was purchased for just 110,000 guineas and has now earned connection in excess of $1.1 million.
