Thrilling Cox Plate Victory for October Yearling Purchase Romantic Warrior
The Hong Kong trained star ROMANTIC WARRIOR claimed a brilliant fourth Group 1 win in the W. S. Cox Plate, one of Australia’s most prestigious races. Trained by Danny Shum and ridden by James McDonald, the five-year-old gelding defeated the four time Group 1 winner MR BRIGHTSIDE and seven time Group 1 winner ALLIGATOR BLOOD in a thrilling finish to Australia’s premier weight for age contest.
